WILL I BE FAMOUS ? : HOW TO SEE FAME IN YOUR VEDIC CHART

'" Fame is a funny thing, like a secret both are hard to keep'" - Richard Peck

In Vedic astrology, the most important planet to look for fame is Rahu. People think that Venus makes you famous, but it is actually Rahu that does it. Fame is very psychological in many ways, people go crazy for you and start idolizing you and are even ready to do many extreme things in your love. Rahu rules over the camera and is capable of giving massive fame overnight. So it is quite clear that to achieve huge amount of fame, one needs to have a strong Rahu in their chart. Rahu is the strongest in the 10th house and in the sign of Libra, it would perform the best in terms of fame. Other strong positions for Rahu would be the 1st house/2nd house/5th house/7th house and 11th house. It would perform the best in air signs like Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. It does well in earth signs also, like Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Air signs have the ability to give massive fame overnight as the medium or channel of communication is air. Those viral videos that you keep watching on the internet are all because of such combinations.

In order for Rahu to give fame, other planets like Moon and the dispositor of Rahu should also support it. If the lord of that sign where Rahu is placed in is strong, only then it would be able to give huge fame. Other combinations that give fame are Moon in the 1st or 7th house, Jupiter in 1st/7th house also gives fame. Venus in the 1st/2nd/5th/7th/10th or 11th house is also capable to give fame. Venus would also do well in earth and air signs to give fame. Even in the sign of Virgo, Venus is extremely capable of giving huge amount of fame. The 1st and 10th houses should also be examined carefully to come to this decision.

The 8th house is also capable of giving sudden fame to the native, Venus and Rahu in the 8th house can make the person overnight, but this placement has to be studied carefully as it has the capability of making you famous due to all the wrong reasons. This house is quite unpredictable, hence has to be studied carefully. Sun in the 1st and 10th house would also give fame to the person, but it can be due the native's father or due to the native's work. These combinations must also be studied in the D9 and D10 chart. The dashamsha chart must be looked carefully as it is the actual chart of your 10th house of your D1 chart.

Certain ascendants are more favorable for getting fame as they naturally have the ability to attract fame. These ascendants are Taurus, Leo, Libra, Capricorn and Aquarius. Taurus and Libra are ruled by Venus, which is the 2nd most important planet for fame after Rahu as it represents glamour and beauty. Leo is the natural 5th house and is ruled by the planet Sun, which has the ability to give fame. Capricorn is the natural 10th house and the sign of Aquarius is co-ruled by Rahu and this sign is very important as it rules over the masses and large networks. Some famous examples include Shah Rukh Khan (Leo Asc), Amitabh Bacchan (Aquarius Asc), Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai (Libra Asc).

In terms of fame, the quadrant houses or kendra houses become quite important, which are the 1st,4th.7th and 10th house. If any planet is in even two such houses, it would aspect the other opposite quadrant house. Eg: If Moon is in 1st, it would always aspect the 7th house, if Venus is in the 7th house it would always aspect the ascendant. In order to have good fame, it is important that these quadrant houses must be strong. It is also important to check the ashtakvarga chart and see how many points, these houses are getting. If the 10th house gets above 30 points, then that is a good indication. Certain other combinations which can give fame are the 1st lord going in 4th/5th/7th/10th house or conjunction of the 1st and 7th lord in a quadrant house.
