Late marriage happens due to the influence of malefic planets on the 7th house/ 7th lord or venus . The various combinations for a late marriage are : 1) Direct saturn in the 7th house or if 7th lord gets conjunct saturn 2) Venus saturn conjunction ( within 7 degrees) 3) 7th house is in paap kartari ( malefic planets in 6th and 8th house ) 4) Rahu , ketu , mars and saturn are aspecting 7th house/7th lord or sitting in the 7th house 5) Venus is heavily afflicted ( with malefic planets like rahu, ketu , saturn or mars ) . 6) Venus gets combusted by sun ( within 5 degrees) 7) No benefic aspects on the 7th house or 7th lord  8) 7th lord gets debilitated or is placed in an enemy sign  9) Malefic sun in the 7th house  10) If the ascendant gets occupied by Rahu, ketu , malefic sun , mars or saturn  11)  Saturn is aspecting the 7th house  12) 7th lord is  placed  in the nakshatra of saturn  13) Cancer and Leo ascendants can naturally have a late marriage because of the influence of saturn on the 7th house  14) 7th lord gets combusted by sun .
