Uttara Phalguni is the 12th nakshatra of the zodiac belt. It falls majorly in the sign of Virgo and partially in the sign of Leo. This nakshatra is also called the social worker and since it also falls in the sign of Virgo, it is connected to the 6th house, which deals with social service and helping other people. The shakti that is associated with this nakshatra is called the Chayani Shakti which basically means the power of prosperity  through partnerships or marriage. This shows that there is a lot of abundance associated with this nakshatra as there was in the previous nakshatra of Purva Phalguni. Both the phalguni nakshatras bring in a lot of prosperity in the lives of natives. Since this nakshatra is ruled by the planet Sun and it falls in the sign of Mercury, so in many ways this nakshatra works like a Sun Mercury combination, which makes these natives very smart and intelligent. Sun also brings in a lot of confidence and the ability to manage everything by themselves. Usually, such individuals are self-starters and don't need other people for help. Since the 6th house is also connected with work and routine, such individuals are very serious about their work and have a structured routine. They would do their work perfectly and would always be punctual. 

Venus or 7th lord in this nakshatra performs quite well and tends to give a lot of prosperity through marriage, provided Sun and Mercury are well placed in the chart. Even though this is the sign where Venus gets debilitated, but it has been seen that Venus does well here. It can give a few relationship issues but is pretty strong for professional growth and monetary gains. Such individuals would also involve themselves in social entrepreneurship, NGOs, working with animals and uplifting the society. If Saturn or the 10th lord is in this nakshatra, then such individuals treat their work as worship and would do their work perfectly with full sincerity. If 2nd or 8th lord is in this nakshatra, then it can show that the individual could gain through inheritance and could receive a lot of financial support from their family. If the lord of these houses is a benefic planet like Venus, Mercury or Jupiter, then the person would be able to receive these things quite easily. Rahu does extremely well in this nakshatra and makes the individual cunning and manipulative. At the same time, Rahu here does very well to achieve what he/she wants in their life and they are always goal-focused. Ketu does not perform that well here and the individual tends to make a lot of mistakes. However, if the individual involves themselves in acts of social service and do things selflessly, then Ketu gives good results in this nakshatra.
