Anuradha Nakshatra is the 17th nakshatra of the zodiac belt. It falls entirely in the sign of Scorpio. This nakshatra is ruled by the planet Saturn and it is a Mridu nakshatra, which means soft. The deity of this nakshatra is Mitra, who is one of the 12 Adityas. Mitra is the God, who represents friendship. Adityas are known to uphold the law and and protect and guard all humans. They are the children of Aditi.
