SHUKRA LAGNA : HOW TO SEE AFTER MARRIAGE RESULTS ?

 

Venus is the planet of luxury, happiness, sweet things, marriage and creativity. It represents  multiple things in our life and is a very important planet to look at in your chart. Venus is the natural karaka of marriage and relationships. Hence, to study the effects that marriage would bring in your life, it becomes very important to see the Shukra Lagna or placing Venus in the 1st house of your chart and look at where all the planets go from there. Eg: If you are a Libra ascendant and if you have Venus and  Mars in the 10th house, Sun Moon Mercury in the 11th house, Jupiter in the 8th house, Rahu in the 9th house, Ketu in the 3rd house and Saturn in the 5th house, then while making the Shukra Lagna,  it would become a Cancer ascendant with Venus and Mars in the 1st house, Sun Moon Mercury would go in the 2nd house in Leo, Ketu in the 6th house, Rahu in the 12th house in Gemini, Saturn in the 8th house in Aquarius and Jupiter in the 11th house in Taurus. 

To study the Shukra Lagna, first we will study the 1st house. We will see the planets getting conjunct Venus, the aspects on it and where the lord is going. Like in the above mentioned chart, Venus and Mars come in the 1st house in Cancer and Moon goes in the 2nd house with the 2nd lord Sun. This shows that after marriage, the person's wealth would increase as 1st lord goes in the 2nd house and the 2nd lord Sun is also placed there. If the ascendant lord was going in the 9th house or if Venus being the 9th lord was coming in the ascendant, then we could say that after marriage, the person's luck would rise. If the ascendant lord goes in the 3rd house, it could show that there would be increased travelling after marriage, if it goes in the 4th house, it could show that marriage would bring a lot of peace to the individual, provided no malefic aspects are there on the 4th house. If it goes in the 8th house, it could show that marriage would bring in sudden shifts and transformations in the native's life. If it goes in the 10th house, it is good for your career and the person's career would rise after marriage. If it falls in the 11th house, it shows that the person's network circle would increase and the person's hopes and wishes would get fulfilled with marriage. It it goes in the 5th house, it could show an increases interest towards gaining knowledge and the person would become more creative and romantic after marriage. In the 6th house, it can show that the person's debts can be increased, the person will become more service oriented and could even keep a pet after marriage. In the 7th house, it can show that the person's focus will be primarily on marriage and on their spouse. In the 12th house, it can show that the person would spend more after marriage, would travel to foreign countries or could also lead to increase in losses for the native. The person could also become more spiritual and detached after marriage, specially if it goes in a water sign and gets connected with Ketu. If Venus is sitting in its own sign like Taurus or Libra, then it shows that the 1st house will be in the 1st house itself. In such case, it is important to see the aspects and conjunctions with Venus. 

It is also important to see if Venus is getting conjunct any planet and the houses that it rules in the chart from the Shukra Lagna. In the example taken above, Venus was getting conjunct Mars and Mars was ruling the 5th and 10th house and becomes a yogakaraka for a cancer ascendant. So even though Mars was in debilitation, it was forming a Raj Yoga with Venus and since it rules the 10th house, it must be great for the person's profession. If a lot of dhan yogas are being formed from the Shukra Lagna, then it goes that the person's wealth would come through marriage. It is also important to see the cluster of planets and in which houses they are primarily going. This would show where the focus of the life will be after marriage. In the above example, 6 out of 9 planets are coming in the 12th, 1st and 2nd house. All these houses relate primarily to the individual which shows that after marriage, the person's main focus would be on himself/herself and on his/her career. If majority of all planets go the 3rd,4th and 5th house, then it shows that the person's focus would be on shifting houses and the person would be involved in taking care of his/her house primarily. If the majority of planets go in the 6th,7th and 8th house, then it shows that the person's focus would be on serving other people and his/her community. If majority of all planets fall in the 9th, 10th and 11th house, then it shows that the person's main focus on travelling, exploring different cultures and remaining out and socializing with friends and colleagues.
